Mother Hubbard is a family run business started in 1994 in a small shop in the town of Nailsworth. At that time all the furniture was restored and upholstered or painted by the owners Anne Russell and partner Stuart. Since then the business has flourished and for the past 10 years has occupied the bottom floor of Days Mill in the heart of the town, an area of over 5,000sq. Ft which is naturally divided into room settings by the old stone walls of the Mill giving a wonderful warm ambiance to the furniture. There is a sizeable outdoor area where garden and outdoor furniture is displayed.
Mother Hubbard has an established team of Restorers, Cabinet Makers, Painters and Polishers, who can make furniture to your requirements if you cant find what you are looking for.
Mother Hubbard not only supplies Old Original Pine pieces but has an extensive range of new and reproduction furniture in a wide range of styles all of which still retain the traditional Farmhouse or Period style, along with a large range of lighting, mirrors and unusual interior decorative items.
Stuart, Anne and the staff are available 7 days a week to help you find something special. Sunday opening 11am to 5pm.
